Hello! I’m Emma, a surface pattern and children’s book illustrator based in Edinburgh, Scotland. My work is bright, whimsical, and full of movement—shaped by a lifelong love of nature and the storybook illustrations I grew up adoring.

I have a particular passion for illustrating children’s books with animal characters and nature-rich themes, bringing warmth and imagination to every page. Alongside publishing, I create surface pattern designs for products such as stationery, textiles, and home goods, infusing everyday items with a touch of magic.

I work fluidly across both traditional and digital media, using Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop to bring ideas to life. Whether for a storybook or a product line, my goal is always the same: to create artwork that sparks joy, inspires curiosity, and feels like a little piece of wonder.
